Public Sanctuary Tours at Magical Creatures Sanctuary

Located outside of Laupahoehoe on the east side of Hawaii’s Big Island, the Public Sanctuary Tours are offered every Saturday at 12 noon. These two-hour tours provide guests with an immersive experience visiting various rescued farm animal species in their pastures and yards.

During the tour, guides share rescue stories and detailed information about the animals and the industries they came from. The tours encourage interaction with the sanctuary’s magical creatures and are suitable for all ages, with a safety guideline of a maximum of two children aged 12 and under per adult.

Reservations are required, and guests receive confirmation emails with location and final details prior to the tour. A 30% Kama‘āina discount is available with Hawaii ID upon prior contact.
