The PADI Dive Certification Course at Jack’s Diving Locker in Kailua-Kona provides a comprehensive introduction to scuba diving. Students experience breathing underwater and exploring Hawaii’s underwater world. Most participants earn the PADI Open Water Diver certification, while some may receive the PADI Scuba Diver certification if all skills are not completed within the normal schedule.

Course Structure and Pricing

The online course fee is $246, subject to annual changes. Pool instruction combined with four ocean dives costs $750 plus taxes and fees. An optional introductory pool dive is available for $75 plus taxes and fees. Private instruction can be arranged for an additional $300 per day, especially for smaller groups or younger students aged 10 and 11.

• Provided: Instruction, tanks, weights, BCD, regulator, dive computer, wetsuit, shore and boat dives
• Student provides: eLearning online course, PADI app logbook or optional training logbook, mask, snorkel, fins
