The Kulaniapia Falls Daypass offers access to over 40 acres of natural beauty just 15 minutes from Hilo. Visitors can enjoy miles of nature trails, bamboo gardens, and Hawaii’s largest privately accessible waterfall.

Flexible Entry Times and Duration

Discounted arrival time is daily at 10am, with additional entry times available at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. Dinner guests may enter at 4pm. Access lasts between 3 to 4 hours depending on entry time, with most guests staying 1.5 to 2 hours.

Activities and Amenities

When river conditions permit, guests can swim, kayak, or paddleboard under the 120-foot waterfall. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are available but not guaranteed. The daypass includes access to property trails and a discount on other experiences such as Waterfall Rappelling and the Farm to Table Cooking Class.

Important Information

Overnight guests do not need to purchase a daypass as access is included with room reservations. Bring essentials like water, lunch, bathing suits, and towels since there is no onsite food or beverage service unless prebooked. Daypasses must be purchased in advance.
