The Vanilla Luncheon farm tour offers a unique culinary and educational experience in Paauilo, Hawaii. Hosted by the Hawaiian Vanilla Company, this 2-hour tour begins with a gourmet vanilla-inspired lunch featuring recipes developed in their kitchen.

Menu Highlights

The menu includes a choice of Vanilla Lemonade, Vanilla Ice Tea, or a combination called a “Jimmy Boy.” Guests enjoy an amuse of garam masala shrimp cooked in vanilla butter on crostini with vanilla pineapple chutney. The main dish features Vanilla Bourbon Marinated Chicken Breast on a Vanilla Sweet Bread Bun with caramelized onions and Vanilla Mango Chutney Aioli. The salad is topped with Vanilla Raspberry Balsamic Dressing, Vanilla Honey Peppered Pecans, and feta cheese. Potatoes are baked in a Vanilla Southwest Rub, and dessert is Hawaiian Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Complimentary coffee service is included.

Farm Tour and Presentation

After lunch, guests receive a Vanilla 101 presentation and tour the vanilla mill site and farm. The Gallery & Gift Shop is open daily from 10 AM to 3 PM. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a light windbreaker or sweater, especially during the rainy season from November to April.
