Open Water Diver Course Day 1 Overview
The Open Water Diver Course Day 1 is the initial 9-hour session of the PADI certification program offered by Kona Shore Divers in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. This course includes all essential scuba gear such as mask, snorkel, fins, booties, wet suit, regulator, BCD, tanks, weights, and de-fog.
Included Amenities and Course Structure
Participants receive snacks, soft drinks, and comprehensive scuba lessons during the course. The certification earned upon successful completion is recognized worldwide and valid for life. Note that the non-refundable PADI eLearning is not included.
Course Progression
Registration for and completion of Day 2 is required to complete the course. An optional Day 3 may be necessary for some students. Enrollment does not guarantee graduation or certification, as all course standards must be met.
