Your lesson begins with a warm aloha, followed by a comprehensive ocean safety briefing and land lesson. All necessary surf equipment including boards, reef shoes, and rash guards are provided. As the only Billabong Surf School in Maui, we offer the smallest groups for a more personalized experience. Our semi-private lessons ensure individual attention with a maximum of 6 surfers per instructor. Prime lesson times are at 8am and 10am. Check-in at the Waves Hawaii Surf School Van in Kalama Park, located across from the 76 gas station, 5 minutes before the lesson.
