About: Experience the thrill of surfing on the shores of Maui with our private surf lessons at Kalama Beach Park. Dive into the authentic Hawaiian experience as you learn to ride the waves like the ancient Hawaiians. Our friendly instructors welcome you with warm aloha and provide a comprehensive ocean safety briefing and land lesson to get you started. All necessary equipment, including surfboard, reef shoes, and rash guard, is provided for your convenience. Surf with confidence with Waves Hawaii, the ONLY Billabong Surf School in Maui. Our focus on aloha ensures a fun and exciting lesson, aimed at getting you up and riding waves from your very first time. Prime lesson times are at 7:30 am and 10 am. Check-in 5 minutes before your lesson at the Waves Hawaii Surf School Van in Kalama Park, across from the 76 gas station. Look for the Billabong logos on our van.
