Jazz Maui Presents An Evening with Tommy James

At 1280 S Kihei Rd, Kihei, HI, enjoy a 90-minute no-intermission jazz performance featuring Tommy James on piano, Howie Rentzer on drums, Dave Graber on bass, John Zangrando on sax, and guest vocalist Sheryl Renee.

The program includes swinging jazz standards from Tin Pan Alley to Hollywood, highlighting music by Gershwin, Porter, Ellington, and others with an emphasis on straight-ahead swing.

Tommy James is a composer, arranger, and music director with a background from the Manhattan School of Music and nine years as pianist and music director of the Duke Ellington Orchestra. He has collaborated with numerous renowned artists and served as music director for major productions.
