Join us for an enchanting stargazing experience right on the beach at Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel. Our one-hour guided tour of the sky features an 11-inch Celestron Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope. Our knowledgeable astronomer will use a green laser pointer to point out constellations and provide fascinating astronomy facts and Starlore.

Enjoy a planetarium-class formal presentation as we explore planets, nebulae, double stars, star clusters, and galaxies. Our passionate astronomers share relatable and exciting stories to keep you spellbound throughout the experience.

What to Bring:

  • Dress for warm weather (70°F or warmer)
  • Beach chair or mat for seating
  • Avoid using white light; astronomers prefer red lighting

Our tour guide, Heather, is amazing! We had a fun day exploring the island. Heather made us feel super welcome and she is so knowledgeable of the island. We booked the tour through our hotel concierge, and everything from pickup to lunch was great. What a powerful experience!!  Austin was AMAZING! He is knowledgeable and extremely helpful.  We had a bit of hiccup at pearl harbor,  when waiting for the tour they had a glitch in the system and we did not receive our standby text.  We had been waiting 3 hours to go to out to the  memorial.  It  was time  to leave,  but Austin was extremely accommodating and made sure that we got to experience the memorial.

This tour does not schedule a time for the memorial tour and you do have to wait. Make  a reservation!!  Highly suggest asking for Austin!
