PADI Rescue Diver Certification & Emergency First Responder Course
Described by scuba divers as the most challenging yet rewarding course, the PADI Rescue Diver Certification in Honolulu prepares you to prevent and manage problems underwater. You will gain confidence in your skills and learn to assist others effectively.
The course includes knowledge development, rescue exercises, and practical scenarios covering self-rescue, recognizing stress in divers, emergency management, and rescuing panicked or unresponsive divers. It also includes Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training if not previously completed within 24 months.
Eligibility: PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers aged 12 or older who have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive may enroll. Your instructor may also offer the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider specialty course concurrently.
