PADI Bubblemaker Scuba Program for Kids
The PADI Bubblemaker scuba program provides a safe, playful underwater adventure designed specifically for young explorers aged 8 to 12. Under the direct supervision of a certified PADI Professional, kids experience their first breaths underwater in shallow, 2-metre (6-foot) water.
Program Itinerary and Activities
The 2-3 hour session begins with a welcome and check-in, followed by a gear introduction and fitting. Children learn about masks, fins, BCDs, tanks, and regulators in a hands-on way. Safety briefings and underwater expectations are covered before entering the water.
In the pool, kids practice breathing through the regulator, learn hand signals, equalization, and how to stay calm underwater. They then engage in underwater skills such as regulator clearing, swimming, and fun games like bubble blowing to build confidence.
Exploration and Celebration
After skill practice, children explore the shallow pool area with weighted toys and obstacles, experiencing buoyancy and movement like real divers. The session concludes with a slow ascent, gear removal, and a celebration including photos and a debrief with the PADI Pro.
