PADI Advanced Open Water Certification (Part 1) – Shore in Maui

This course is a direct follow-up to the PADI Open Water certification, designed to expand your scuba diving skills. Part one includes two one-tank shore dives where you practice new skills from your online e-learning, such as deep diving, navigation using kick-cycles, visual landmarks, and dive computer optimization.

You will complete two programmed disciplines plus one elective category as outlined on the Pro-Diver website. Note that to achieve full Advanced Open Water certification, part two involving boat diving must also be completed.

Requirements include prior Open Water certification, completion of the PADI Advanced Open Water e-learning, minimum age of 15 (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver), and medical clearance if necessary.
