Open Water Certification Course in Honolulu
The open water certification course provides a comprehensive path to becoming a certified scuba diver in Honolulu. This PADI-certified program includes four portions, each lasting 3-4 hours, designed to build your knowledge and skills progressively.
Course Structure
- PADI eLearning: Complete theory at your own pace from home.
- Confined Water Sessions: Conducted at Magic Island with a review exam at the shop before starting practical skills.
- Open Water 1 & 2: Shore dives following confined water completion.
- Open Water 3 & 4: Boat dives the following day meeting at Ala Wai Harbor slip #68.
Training Quality and Class Size
The course emphasizes high-quality training with a maximum student-instructor ratio of 6:1. Instructors are highly trained to ensure safety and effective learning throughout the certification process.
