Maui Surfing Private Lessons
Welcome to Maui’s First Surf School located at Kalama Beach Park in Kihei. This location offers shallow water, consistent waves, and a year-round average water temperature of 78°F, making it the best place to learn surfing in Maui.
All equipment is provided, and professional instructors are CPR and First Aid certified. Lessons are scheduled at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM daily, excluding Sundays and public holidays. Private and semi-private lessons are available, with a minimum age of 12 for mixed-adult group lessons. Younger children are encouraged to take private or semi-private lessons.
Families can enjoy surfing together in semi-private lessons. A professional photographer is available for capturing your surfing experience (photo packages sold separately). Reservations are required in advance.
