Experience Hawaii’s last working pineapple operation on this educational tour at the Maui Pineapple Store, 870 Haliimaile Rd, Makawao, HI 96768. Learn about cultivation techniques, growing cycles, and the history of the Maui Gold Pineapple.
The tour includes a delicious lunch catered by Ohana Island Grindz, featuring options such as Shoyu Chicken Plate Lunch with white rice and pineapple balsamic salad, Caprese Sandwich with fresh basil and locally sourced tomatoes, and Pineapple Upside-down cake for dessert. Guests receive a free pre-packaged pineapple to take home.
Guests should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time with signed waivers. Closed-toe shoes, light layers, sunscreen, and bug spray are recommended. Minimum age is 3 years old.
