Maui surfing lessons provide an excellent opportunity to learn surfing in Kihei, Maui. All lessons take place at Kalama Beach Park, known for its shallow water, consistent waves, and year-round warm water temperature averaging 78°F.

Lesson Details

Lessons last 2 hours and are offered at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., the best times to surf before tradewinds pick up. Both private and semi-private lessons are available, accommodating families and individuals. All equipment is included, and instructors are CPR and First Aid certified.

Age and Scheduling

The minimum age for mixed-adult group lessons is 12 years. Younger children are encouraged to take private or semi-private lessons. No lessons are held on Sundays or public holidays. Advance reservations are required.
