Experience an unforgettable 1.5-hour night snorkeling tour from Honokohau Harbor, Kona. Swim among wild manta rays attracted by a lightboard while guided by a professional snorkel instructor.

Tour options include early sunset departures with water entry at twilight or later night tours for experienced snorkelers comfortable in the dark. Expect up-close views of manta rays with wingspans up to 16 feet. Check-in is 15 minutes before departure at the pavilion near the restrooms at Honokohau Harbor. The tour features a 25-minute boat ride to the manta ray site and up to 45 minutes snorkeling while holding onto the lightboard. After snorkeling, enjoy refreshments on the return to the harbor.

Bring a hat, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen, and a waterproof camera or rent a GoPro. Participants must be proficient swimmers able to climb a ladder to reboard the boat. In the rare event no manta rays are sighted, a credit for a future tour is provided.
