Kiteboarding Lessons

Location: Oahu, Hawaii

Rates:

  • Private Lessons:
    • 1.5 hours: $175
    • 3 hours: $300
    • 6 hours: $550
    • 12 hours: $1000
  • Semi-private Instruction:
    • 1.5 hours: $125 per person
    • 3 hours: $225 per person
    • 6 hours: $425 per person
    • 12 hours: $800 per person

About:
Experience the thrill of kiteboarding, harnessing the power of the wind for an exhilarating adventure. While we are currently closed due to Sammy’s windsurfing Olympic training schedule, we can refer you to another IKO-certified instructor, Cole, who may be reached at 808-773-2335.

Our kiteboarding lessons offer comprehensive instruction for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders. Lessons adhere to IKO teaching standards, ensuring safety and skill progression. All necessary equipment is provided, including kite, board, helmet, vest, harness, and leash.

Lesson Details:

  • When: Daily
  • Duration: Typically 3 hours per lesson, with options for 1.5-hour sessions
  • Start Times: 8:00am and 11:00am
  • Meeting Place: Waialae Beach Park, Honolulu (or other O’ahu teaching location based on wind conditions)

Our tour guide, Heather, is amazing! We had a fun day exploring the island. Heather made us feel super welcome and she is so knowledgeable of the island. We booked the tour through our hotel concierge, and everything from pickup to lunch was great. What a powerful experience!!  Austin was AMAZING! He is knowledgeable and extremely helpful.  We had a bit of hiccup at pearl harbor,  when waiting for the tour they had a glitch in the system and we did not receive our standby text.  We had been waiting 3 hours to go to out to the  memorial.  It  was time  to leave,  but Austin was extremely accommodating and made sure that we got to experience the memorial.

This tour does not schedule a time for the memorial tour and you do have to wait. Make  a reservation!!  Highly suggest asking for Austin!
