KHA Island Survival Skills Workshop

Meet at the Moloaa Sunrise Fruit Stand off Kuhio Hwy at 8:30 AM for a private and customizable island survival skills workshop. After a brief caravan to an undeveloped coastline with beach and forest access, the group gathers under ironwood trees to begin the day’s activities.

The workshop covers a variety of survival topics depending on weather and group interest, including:

  • Survival fire making
  • Nature observation and wildlife tracking
  • Foraging for food and medicinal plants
  • Rope and cordage making
  • Survival shelter building
  • Primitive fish and animal traps
  • Water procurement and filtration
  • Camouflage and survival pack essentials

The experience emphasizes tuning into nature’s rhythms through sensory observation. A closing circle occurs at noon.
