Glide over crystal-clear waters and explore vibrant reefs and sea life on this self-guided kayak adventure to the Kaneohe Sandbar. Begin with a scenic 25-minute drive to He’eia Kea Boat Harbor, where convenient parking and restrooms are available.
Launch your kayak from the designated spot to the left of the parking lot for safety. Paddle at your own pace, explore the area, and enjoy snorkeling opportunities at the sandbar with breathtaking views of the majestic Ko’olau mountains.
Recommended items to bring include a swimsuit, shoes or hiking sandals for the kayak carry, reef-safe sunscreen, and a change of clothes. Children under 13 require booking a private trip and must kayak with an adult.
