Jake Shimabukuro Concert Overview

The Jake Shimabukuro concert features the world-renowned ukulele virtuoso at the Porter Pavilion in Anaina Hou Community Park, Kilauea. Known as the “Jimi Hendrix of the ukulele,” Jake blends jazz, rock, classical, blues, folk, and traditional Hawaiian music with masterful technique and innovation. Born in Honolulu, he began playing at age four and has captivated audiences worldwide.

Ticketing and Seating Options

This 3.5-hour show offers tiered ticket levels:

• VIP Pavilion Seating: Front row seats reserved for VIP ticket holders, available first-come, first-served. Tickets required for all ages.
• VIP Super Loft: Includes 6 tickets with access to a raised loft seating area featuring couches, padded chairs, and tables for concessions and drinks. Located at the rear of the pavilion with excellent stage views.
• Pavilion Seating: Padded theater chairs under full weather protection, available first-come, first-served. Tickets required for all ages.
• Lawn Seating: Bring your own chair or blanket. Some raised seating is available around the lawn perimeter on a first-come basis. Lawn chairs are strongly recommended.

Venue Rules and Amenities

The show is all ages, with patrons under 18 required to be accompanied by an adult. Children 5 and under are free only on the lawn. No outside food or beverages are permitted; empty bottles for water refills are allowed if empty upon arrival. Glass containers are prohibited. Beverage concessions and food, including vegan and vegetarian options, are available for purchase on site.
