Hidden Craters Hike

Venture onto private land behind three locked gates to explore the upper slopes of Kona’s Hualalai volcano. This unique journey provides intimate access to volcanic sites including precipitous craters, an intact lava tube unaltered by humans, and native forest.

The hike lasts approximately 5 hours and includes snacks, beverages, trekking poles, and rain jackets. Guests should be prepared for uneven or rocky terrain with up to 1,000 feet elevation gain and descent, and possible cool, wet, or muddy conditions.

What to Bring: Sturdy closed-toed shoes or hiking shoes, sweatshirt or light jacket, reusable water bottle, and sun protection such as hat and sunglasses.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund for cancellations at least 24 hours before the hike; no refund for late cancellations or no-shows.
