Hands on Honey Bee Workshop at Maui Bees Farm

Located at 2500 feet on the leeward slopes of Haleakala in Kula, Maui Bees Farm offers an educational adventure into honey bees and beekeeping. Participants will tour the organic biodynamic farm and learn about sustainable agriculture and community living.

• Discussion on beekeeping and honey bees’ role in agriculture
• Protective gear provided to open bee hives and examine honey, brood, and possibly the queen
• Honey variety tasting session

Private tours for up to 10 people are available. Pricing is $149 for adults, $129 for youth ages 12-17, and children ages 6-11 accepted on a case-by-case basis with prior contact.
