Hamakua Chocolate Farm Tour and Tasting
Discover the “Tree to Bar” chocolate experience at Hamakua Chocolate Farm, located just north of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. This tour includes tasting cacao fruit directly from the tree and learning how cacao is grown and processed in Hawaii and worldwide.
Explore botanical gardens featuring vanilla orchids, a spice garden, rainbow eucalyptus groves, and giant bamboo. Cross a suspension bridge into an 80-foot high treehouse overlooking gardens and orchards. Sample fresh exotic fruits, cacao husk tea, and watch a cacao bean to bar chocolate making demonstration.
The tour concludes with a delicious 12-course tasting of award-winning estate chocolates. Guests must be over 12 years old and prepared for walking on uneven terrain. Tours run rain or shine.
