Additional Details

Pickup or meet at 8:00 AM, recommended meeting point is Target in Kahului to maximize trail time. Hotel pickup is available at no extra charge from South side hotels (Kihei, Wailea, Ma’alaea). West side pickup (Lahaina/Ka’anapali to Kapalua) is available for a $295 additional fee. The tour includes a drive up Haleakala through several climate zones with guided commentary and a short visitor center stop.

Fitness Requirements

Guests must have intermediate fitness and be able to hike unassisted at elevation for 1 to 2 hours. Appropriate non-cotton clothing and footwear are recommended.
