Experience a 4-hour guided hike through the Halawa Valley in Kaunakakai, Hawaii, led by Kuleana landowner descendant Kalani Pruet and his ohana. The trail passes an ancient Hawaiian village and leads to the scenic Moaula Falls, where guests can swim in the pond and enjoy a lunch break.

  • Duration: 4 hours, typically 10 AM to 2 PM, sometimes longer
  • 1.5-hour walk up and 1.5-hour walk back to the flower farm, totaling approximately 12,000 steps
  • Learn about Hawaiian culture, vegetation on the flower farm, and the history of the falls
  • Bring water, comfortable shoes, lunch, and swimwear if you plan to swim
  • No garbage receptacles on trail; guests must carry out all trash
  • Complimentary fresh fruit smoothies and possibly chocolate from farm-grown cacao upon return
  • Minimum group size of 4 required; tours are weather dependent
