Group Surf Lessons at Kalama Park, Kihei

Start your surf lesson with a warm aloha, an ocean safety briefing, and a land session before spending over an hour catching waves at Kalama Park.

• Small groups of six surfers or fewer per instructor for personalized coaching
• Family-friendly focus with experienced, CPR and first-aid trained instructors

Prime lesson times are morning sessions, with midday lessons available on request. Check in 5 minutes before the lesson at the Waves Hawaii surf school van in Kalama Park, across from the Aloha gas station. Group lessons require booking for two or more people and are suitable for ages 10 and up. Morning prime times are 7:30am and 9:30am; midday lessons require prior confirmation due to wind conditions.

Bring towels, cover-ups, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, and sun hats with straps. If weather or wave conditions are unsuitable, you will be notified.
