Freediving Courses in Honolulu

Offered by TA – MCBH, the SSI Basic Freediver course is your first step into the peaceful, exhilarating world of freediving. This entry-level program combines online training with in-water practice sessions to teach safe freediving with a buddy in pool or confined water up to five meters depth.

The course includes mask and snorkel, weight belt and weights, and covers static apnea, dynamic apnea, breathing techniques, and rescue skills. Day 1 is pool-based training, while Day 2 takes place in the ocean to apply your skills in open water. Upon completion, you earn your SSI Basic Freediver certification.
