Visit Na ‘Āina Kai Botanical Gardens at 4101 Wailapa Road, Kilauea, for a self-guided walking tour of the Formal Gardens every Thursday from 9am to 12pm, with last check-in at 10:30am.
Stroll through Shower Tree Park, Ka‘ūla Lagoon with its waterfall, the Japanese teahouse, Desert Garden, and Palm Garden. Encounter over 30 bronze sculptures throughout the gardens.
Knowledgeable volunteers are stationed at various locations to answer questions and share insights. Visitors are encouraged to bring a camera for photos.
