Forest Bathing at Moanalua Gardens

Join a guided forest therapy walk at Moanalua Gardens, a historic 24-acre public park just a few miles from downtown Honolulu. This privately-owned garden, originally part of a bequest by Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, features iconic monkeypod trees including the Hitachi Tree, native tropical plants, and historic buildings.

During the 2-hour forest bathing experience, your certified guide will lead a gentle, mindful stroll across lawns and shaded garden areas, covering less than a mile. The walk includes sensory invitations to deepen your connection with nature, quiet contemplation, and group sharing opportunities.

Meet at the Japanese Tea House (Gift Shop) in Moanalua Gardens, 2850-A Moanalua Road. Please bring a small backpack with a towel or mat, raingear, fragrance-free mosquito repellent, sunscreen, and water. Walking sticks may be available on request.
