The “Double K” Flights

The “Double K” Tandem Paragliding Flights in Maui

Experience tandem paragliding flights with USHPA certified instructors on Mount Haleakala. This popular lower launch flight includes two sequential flights, each with a 1000′ descent lasting approximately 4 minutes.

Participants must be at least 14 years old, physically able to run, and weigh less than approximately 250 lbs. Those over 250 lbs are encouraged to call for accommodations. The adventure begins with a drive from the landing zone up the side of Mount Haleakala to the Haleakala Watershed Preserve forest, reaching the Echos launch site at 4500′ elevation.

The first flight offers soaring views above the landing zone and Maui’s central valley, followed by a second flight featuring more exciting maneuvers for thrill-seekers. There is no cliff jumping involved; simply run down the hill and fly like a bird with no motors or noise.
