Continuing Education Scuba Courses
Island Divers Hawaii Kai provides discounted continuing education scuba courses with varying details depending on the course. Refer to the upcoming events webpage for full schedules, additional equipment requirements, and dive locations.
Signing up online does not automatically assign digital online learning; please call after payment to get it assigned and complete it before arriving.
The SSI diver progression includes:
- Level 1 Diver: After open water certification
- Level 2 Diver: After 2 specialty courses and 12 logged dives
- Level 3 Diver: After 4 specialty courses and 24 logged dives
- Level 4 Master Diver: After 5 specialty courses including Rescue and 50 logged dives
- Level 5 Diver: After 100 logged dives
The Rescue course can be taken immediately after certification and is recommended early.
