Bird Lovers’ Road to Hana Private Guided Tour

Experience the famous Road to Hana with a focus on bird species on this private guided tour for up to 6 people. Starting at 8:00 AM, the tour includes hotel pick-up in South Maui areas or meeting at Target Kahului to maximize time on the road.

This tour is designed for bird lovers aged 10 and older. While it is not a dedicated birding tour, your knowledgeable guide will help you find and discuss many bird species along the route. Note that native Hawaiian honeycreepers are not found on this tour.

Pricing is $1435 for 1-4 guests, with $195 for each additional guest. West Side hotel pick-up is available for $295. The tour covers East Maui’s Upcountry area and offers chances to spot various birds including the rare apueo (short-eared owl).
