Located on the slopes of Pu`u Ohia (Mount Tantalus), the Liljestrand House was built between 1951-1952 and is a celebrated example of Vladimir Ossipoff’s mid-twentieth century modern architecture.

This guided docent-led tour offers a detailed look at the house, discussing the architect, client, and architectural principles. Tours are conducted in English and include on-site parking.

Ossipoff is recognized for integrating cultural context, climatic responsiveness, and natural harmonies into his designs. The tour accommodates up to 10 people, with full refunds or credits available for cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance.
