After a safety briefing on board, the tour officially begins once the boat departs the dock in Eleele. Fishing lines are typically set as the boat exits the outer break wall. The captain determines the fishing path based on weather conditions and recent catch reports, ranging from 1-2 miles offshore up to 12-15 miles depending on the season and trip length.

Fishing methods primarily involve trolling with artificial lures (80%-90%), with occasional use of dead bait, chunk bait, and surface jigging at buoys. Live bait is caught early in the morning when used.

Onboard amenities include an air-conditioned cabin with couches, a stand-up fridge, microwave, and restroom. The back deck offers seating with a fighting chair and ample space to move.
