4 Hour Hawaiian Imu Building Tour in Pahoa

Experience a deep connection with Hawaiian culture through this immersive 4 hour tour in Pahoa, Hawaii Moku O Keawe. Participants engage in building an imu (underground oven), harvesting plant materials, food preparation and cooking, Oli chanting, and excursions to culturally significant sites if time permits.

The tour concludes with a lu‘au where guests feast on freshly cooked food hot out of the imu. This hands-on experience is designed to welcome visitors as part of the ‘ohana.
