Recommended for first timers and novice surfers, the 30ft wave channel at Wai Kai offers an exceptional surfing experience suitable for all skill levels. The manageable wave size provides a safe and exciting environment to build confidence and develop skills.
This session includes a surf orientation and basic riding instructions, a soft top surfboard, and a helmet (required for first timers). Coaching beyond basic instruction is available for an additional fee.
- Location: Wai Kai, Ewa Beach, Hawaii
- Check-in at Guest Services on the Wave Deck, next to WaveBar
- Arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled session
- Complete activity waiver before arrival for express check-in
Bring proper surf or bathing attire and leash if using your own board. The sessions provide a fun and supportive environment to catch your first wave or improve your technique.
