The 2 Tank Shipwreck and Reef Dives in Waikiki provide certified divers with a 4-hour advanced dive experience. The trip features two unique shipwrecks: the Sea Tiger and YO 257/San Pedro, located about 100 feet apart.
Wreck Sites and Marine Life
- Sea Tiger (80 to 130 ft): The deepest recreational wreck on the island, originally a fishing vessel sunk in 1996. It hosts large schools of pyramid butterflyfish, massive sea turtles, and white tip sharks.
- YO 257/San Pedro (60 to 100 ft): Close to the Sea Tiger, this wreck features great corals, numerous fish species, and several types of eels. Occasionally, a white submarine passes between the wrecks.
Additional Dive Sites
- Turtle Canyon (15 to 30 ft): Known for green sea turtles and a busy cleaning station.
- Nautilus Reef (30 to 60 ft): Displays Hawaiian hard corals and resting white tip sharks, along with yellow margin moray eels.
