Forest Bathed in Watercolor is a 2.5-hour guided experience located in a private garden sanctuary on Oahu’s Windward side. This activity combines the therapeutic practice of forest bathing with a creative watercolor workshop, led by Hawai’i’s first certified forest therapy guide, Phyllis.
Guided Forest Bathing and Watercolor Workshop
The session begins with a mindful forest bathing sequence designed to reconnect participants with nature through sensory invitations. Following this, guests engage in a watercolor workshop led by artist Tamara, where they translate natural sounds and impressions into intuitive paintings. No prior art experience is required.
Schedule and Location
The experience starts with check-in at Kahalu’u Gallery and Gardens at 9:15 am, followed by introductions and activities concluding at noon. Participants may also visit onsite art galleries after the session.
