Forest Bathing in an Artist’s Garden
Enjoy a unique forest bathing experience with a gentle, mindful stroll through gardens created by the late Hawai‘i artist Hiroshi Tagami. Sessions take place Saturdays at 9:00am.
The walk follows a paved switchback descending into a forested gully on the grounds of Kahalu‘u Gallery and Gardens, an ideal setting to reconnect with nature and yourself through your senses. A certified forest therapy guide offers a series of invitations to deepen this connection.
Participants aged 16 and older are welcome. After the walk, enjoy free entrance to the art galleries featuring paintings, giclees, ceramics, sculpture, photography, and jewelry by Hiroshi Tagami and Michael Powell.
Forest Bathing Hawai‘i is recognized by Lonely Planet, The New York Times, and Forbes for its wellness benefits and respectful island experience.
Included is a 2-hour guided experience by a certified forest therapy guide and tea.
