AIDA 4 Assistant Instructor Freediving Course
The AIDA 4 assistant instructor course is the most advanced non-professional freediving level, offered over four days. This course enhances your knowledge and skills in deep freediving beyond recreational levels, including advanced techniques and safety procedures.
Skills and Techniques Covered
Training includes FRC diving, mouth-fill equalization, packing, and disciplines such as Static Apnea, Dynamic Apnea, Constant Weight, Free Immersion, and Variable Weight. The course also introduces full body warm-ups, breathing muscle stretching, training concepts, and diet recommendations to support freediving development.
Instructor Preparation and Equipment Management
Students learn to manage open water equipment safely, including knots, dive line setup, weight belts, and additional gear. The course prepares candidates for assistant instructor responsibilities, such as leading warm-ups and supervising students during confined and open water sessions.
Recommended items to bring include sunscreen, water, and a yoga mat or towel. The course fee starts at $650.
