Join the weekly guided tour of Kahanu Garden in Hana, Maui, held every Friday at 9:30 a.m. This tour reveals archaeological features and captivating stories of ancient Hawai’i, including tales of Chief Pi’ilani from the 16th century. Experience firsthand the traditional uses of plants brought by the first Hawaiians.

Many guides are local experts who share cultural practices and traditions passed down by their elders. The garden is a rainforest environment, so tropical rain may occur; in such cases, you can reschedule or cancel by contacting kahanu@ntbg.org.
