Explore the cosmos on a 1-hour guided stargazing tour with a seasoned professional using both the naked eye and a powerful Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Learn about planets, stars, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, and Hawaiian history and mythology connected to the night sky.
Meet your guide at Ironwoods Beach Public Parking, then proceed to the beach where the telescope will be set up.
What to bring: Warm clothes, rain jacket, water, BYOB, and optionally a beach chair. A sand mat will be provided.
Weather policy: The tour is weather-dependent; cancellations due to weather allow rebooking or full refund. Partial refunds may be issued if canceled mid-tour.
Restrictions: Children under 6 are not permitted on group tours.
