Delve into the rich history and vibrant culture of Hawaii’s Big Island on this guided tour. Visit ancient royal grounds at Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, take a nature walk through Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park to see ancient fishponds and seawalls, and learn about Captain Cook at Kealakekua Bay Lookout.
The tour also includes stops at a honey farm for tasting and a Kona coffee orchard for a farm tour and sampling. Guests are served a local-style picnic lunch with assorted juices, snacks, and bottled water. All park entrance fees, jackets, and rain gear are included.
Pickup is available from major hotels and resorts in Kona, Waikoloa, and the Kohala Coast area between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. The tour lasts approximately 7 to 8.5 hours depending on pickup location. Guests should wear comfortable summer clothing and covered walking shoes. The maximum group size is 12 guests.
